PetroChina Predicts China's Natural Gas Output to Double in a Decade, an Industrial Info News Alert

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Jia Chengzao, Vice President of PetroChina (NYSE:PTR), said China's natural gas output will double to between 150 billion cubic meters and 200 billion cubic meters in about a decade. Last year, the country produced 69.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas, 23.1% higher than 2006, and it will produce about 76 billion cubic meters this year.
