American Airlines Cargo Honored As 'International Airline of the Year' at AirCargo 2008 Conference

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines Cargo Division (AA Cargo) announced today it received the "International Airline of the Year" award from the Express Delivery and Logistics Association (XLA) at its annual AirCargo 2008 Conference in Orlando, Fla.
AA Cargo President Dave Brooks accepted the "International Airline of the Year" award, as well as additional recognition for a second place finish in the competition among U.S. airlines for "Best Domestic Carrier." The awards are determined by an annual survey of XLA members who use the services of carriers for their express deliveries around the world.

AirCargo 2008 is the premier annual trade show and conference for the Air and Expedited Motor Carriers Association (AEMCA), the Airforwarders Association (AfA), and the Express Delivery & Logistics Association (XLA).
