2008 Deep Research Report on Global and China Thin Film Solar Cell Industry Now Available

Posted on: Monday, 31 March 2008, 00:00 CDT

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c87079) has announced the addition of 2008 Deep Research Report on Global and China Thin Film Solar Cell Industry to their offering.

In 2004, as the German government subsidized the solar industry, the subsequent huge demand brought about high profits for global polysilicon manufacturers. And in 2007, the great success of US First Solar brought a new era for thin film solar cells. Low cost--1.3$/W; high efficiency--almost 11%, meanwhile, a large number of orders from EU and North America regions and abundant raw materials in large-scale production promoted First Solar to achieve revenue expectations with high profits, revenue and reliability. This also meant the world had entered into the golden age of thin film solar.

In 2007 and 2008, thin film has been the most popular field in the solar industry. A lot of new projects have emerged or been put into production. Besides US First Solar, Japan Sharp also started their plan of mass production in thin film field, German Q-CELL Schott Solar also made a big investment in thin film solar cells. Taiwan invested more than 10 thin film projects over a short period, meanwhile the amorphous silicon manufacturing leader in the home market-- China Suntech, has put their efforts into successful commercial production.

Group invested about 14billion RMB on thin film business, which all show that thin film has gained more and more attention. The low cost and generation advantage of thin film will be the major driving force of reducing solar power cost, although C-Si PV will still be the key product for a long time.

This Research Report on Global and China Thin Film Solar Cell Industry in 2008 was published by QY Research Solar Energy Research Centre in Feb 2008. It is a professional research report on the global and China thin film solar cell industry chain. In the report, the following information will be included:

-Manufacturing process and related technology information of thin film (Cd Te CIS/CIGS a-Si (Single Tandam or triple junction) amorphous/microcrystalline -double junction) in Global and China

-Manufacturing capacity, production and expansions of thin film solar cell in Global and China from 2005 to 2013

-Market share of manufacturers in different regions through technology

-New thin film projects and related information about new comers in Global and China

-Supply, demand and shortage in thin film solar cell in Global and China from 2005 to 2013

-Production cost, price, and profit margin of thin film solar cell (module) in Global and China

-Thin film production and market share in USA, EU, Japan, China Taiwan and other countries and regions

-Manufacturing process, productions and market share (Single Tandam or triple junction) amorphous/microcrystalline double junction)

-12 items (such as revenue, production, technology, shareholders, customer contacts etc) of each manufacturer (more than 70 thin film manufacturers) have been made.

-Thin film solar cell or module efficiency of all manufacturers in the world and China

-Development trend (2008-2013) and related conclusions in the thin film solar cell industry

In a word, this is a deep research report on the solar energy thin film industry chain both around the globe and in China.
