Austrian Airlines has reported that it will open its first customer service center in L'viv, Ukraine, at the end of April 2008, to serve Ukrainian and Russian markets.

Austrian will initially employ 12 people at the newly opened call center in L'viv to look after passengers' needs. As the center grows in coming years, it will become possible to increase staffing, eventually creating a total of 30 jobs.

Austrian Airlines will offer visitors to the new customer service center wide-ranging information about reservations and bookings in Ukrainian, Russian and English. According to the airline, benefits to the customer include improved levels of service, longer opening hours and consequently greater accessibility, and employees highly trained in the respective national languages.
