United Airlines March Passenger Load Factor Down

United Airlines has reported its passenger load factor for March 2008 was 82.7%, a decrease of 2.3 points, compared to 85% in March 2007.
The total scheduled revenue passenger miles decreased in February by 2.7% to 10.04 billion, compared to 10.31 billion in March 2007.
The capacity was 12.14 billion available seat miles which is almost equal to that of March 2007. Airlines's cargo traffic increased 4.6% to 183.32 million cargo ton miles compared to 175.25 million in March 2007.
