Northwest Airlines to Celebrate First Nonstop Flight Minneapolis/St. Paul to Paris

 What:          Northwest Airlines’ officials along with business, tourism and government leaders from Minnesota will gather at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport for the launch of new nonstop air service connecting MSP with Paris, France and 38 destinations beyond in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.  When:          Tuesday, April 8, 2008 Ceremony begins at 1:35 p.m. CST  Where:         MSP, Lindbergh Terminal, Northwest Airlines Gate G-1  Who:           Doug Steenland, President and CEO, Northwest Airlines Jack Lanners, Chairman Metropolitan Airports Commission Lars Lindbergh, Grandson of Charles Lindbergh  Note to media: Media representatives please RSVP to Jessica.Neu@nwa.com by 5:00 p.m. Monday 

Tuesday please pickup gate pass by 1:15 p.m. at Northwest’s First class ticket counter with a valid driver’s license or passport that will allow entry through the security checkpoint.
