Fas to Delay Gazprom-Suek Merger Decision By 2 Mths

MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) – The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has delayed its decision on a merger between Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) and Siberian Coal and Energy Company (SUEK) by two months.
The FAS said in materials that it had received a request by LLC Gas Energy Company to buy 50% plus one voting share in SUEK and that it had extended its review of the request until June 7.
