Northwest Airlines Announces Spring and Summer Fare Sales for Travel From North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) today announced spring and summer fare sales for travel to/from North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. Spring travel must be completed by June 12, 2008 with the summer travel valid from June 13, 2008 to August 28, 2008.
Tickets at Northwest's seasonal sales prices are subject to availability and may be purchased until April 25, 2008. Seats are limited and sale fares may not be available on all flights.
Ticket sales prices vary depending upon travel days, with peak travel days of Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday running slightly more than travel on the off-peak days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. A Saturday night stay is required.
Northwest's spring and summer sales fares are currently available for purchase through the airline's Web site at www.nwa.com, Northwest Airlines reservations at 1-800-225-2525, most travel Web sites and through travel agents.

Spring/Summer Sale Terms and Conditions: Purchase Requirements: A ticket purchased through Northwest's U.S. Reservation call centers will be $15 USD higher than the advertised fare and a ticket purchased at a Northwest airport location in the U.S. or Canada will be $20 USD/CAD higher. These charges will be included in the fare quoted to you. A 14-day advance purchase is required. Tickets must be purchased at time of reservations on nwa.com, within 24 hours of making reservations with an agent or per advance purchase requirements, whichever comes first, but no later than April 25, 2008. Travel Origin/Destination: Fares are valid for travel from/to North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. Travel Dates: Travel must be completed by June 12, 2008. Fares for summer travel are slightly higher. Travel Days: Fares shown are valid on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Fares for travel on other days are slightly higher. Blackout Dates: None. Minimum/Maximum Stay: A Saturday-night stay is required and a 30-day maximum stay is permitted. Stopovers: Not permitted. Upgrades: Not permitted except WorldPerks(R) Elite and Elite companion upgrades. Additional Taxes/Fees: Fares shown are in USD and do not include Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 USD roundtrip, a September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 USD roundtrip, and U.S. segment taxes of up to $3.50 USD per flown segment.
