Russian Businessman Mordashov Boosts Stake in Tui to 10%

MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) – Alexei Mordashov, the general director and main beneficiary of Russian steel giant Severstal (RTS: CHMF), increased his stake in TUI, Europe’s largest tourism concern, to 10.03% from 5.02% on April 4, TUI said in a statement.
Mordashov bought a 3% interest in TUI in November 2007 and increased his stake in the company to 5% in January 2008.
The businessman’s interests in TUI are represented by the companies S-Group Travel Holding GmbH, Sungrebe Investments Limited and Artcone Limited.
