China Revises Gross Domestic Product

The National Bureau of Statistics in China released revised 2007 gross domestic product figures Thursday.
The 2007 gross national product for China has been revised up 0.5 percent to 11.9 percent, the National Bureau of Statistics reported.
The revision increases the gross domestic product estimate by $41.63 billion to $3.56 trillion.
The revision is routine, and falls under the category of preliminary verification, Xinhua reported. Final figures have not yet been released.
Final figures for 2006, released Thursday, were set at $3.03 trillion, up 11.6 percent from 2005.
