Home2US to Deliver More International Programming to U.S. Homes Via Its Expanded Relationship With SES AMERICOM

Posted on: Monday, 14 April 2008, 09:00 CDT

SES AMERICOM (www.ses-americom.com), an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg stock exchanges: SESG), today announced that Home2US Communications, Inc., a direct-to-home provider of international programming, has expanded its successful relationship with SES AMERICOM to deliver additional foreign programming to the culturally diverse U.S. market.

Since 2003, Home2US has relied on SES AMERICOM's AMC-4 satellite to deliver its programming to homes and cable networks throughout the U.S., which has helped Home2US become the fastest growing DTH platform in the nation. To meet growing consumer demand, Home2US is renewing its contracts with SES AMERICOM and adding additional programming to its line-up. In particular, Home2US is expanding its popular Korean language programming line up of The Asia Network (TAN TV), which includes all five of the major South Korean broadcast networks: EBS-America, KBS, MBC, SBS and YTN. Home2US has also renewed its distribution agreement with the Christian Global Network (CGN TV) as part of its Korean language bouquet. It is also expanding the international communities it serves with the addition of BVN, the largest Dutch language channel from The Netherlands. BVN is the latest blue-chip broadcaster to join Home2US and is distributed via AMC-4 throughout North and South America.

"Meeting the steadily growing U.S. demand for our international programming requires that we have a partner with the satellite resources and tremendous background in television that SES AMERICOM brings us," said Emrah Ozkan, president and CEO for Home2US. "SES AMERICOM has played a key role in helping us achieve our success. In particular, the reliability and quality of their AMC-4 satellite ensures the optimal picture quality our subscribers demand, which has also helped us sign new channels to our service. We have enjoyed a lasting relationship built on our respective strengths, thereby creating a very compelling reason for broadcasters worldwide to rely on the Home2US DTH platform as their premier choice to distribute their content throughout the Americas."

"Home2US has a simple recipe for success: ensure its subscribers receive a growing line-up of compelling international programming delivered with superior picture quality," said Bryan McGuirk, President of SES AMERICOM's Media and Enterprise division. "The U.S. market for international programming is significant and the nationwide reach of our AMC-4 satellite allows Home2US to serve subscribers anywhere in the country."
