Pepco Energy Services Extends Agreement With Trump Organization to Provide Heating and Cooling Services to New Hotel Tower at Taj Mahal Casino Resort

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Pepco Energy Services, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. , has entered into a contract extension to develop, design and operate additional energy systems for Trump Organization’s Taj Mahal Casino Resort on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ through its subsidiary, Thermal Energy Limited Partnership I.

The Pepco Energy Services companies have been operating the heating and cooling facilities at Taj Mahal since 1997. With construction underway for a new 800-room hotel tower at the Taj, Pepco Energy Services and the Trump Organization have agreed to new contract terms that will extend the energy services agreement through the year 2027.

Under the terms of the contract extension, Pepco Energy Services will construct additional energy systems that will meet all the heating and cooling needs of the new hotel tower, as well as continuing to serve the rest of the Taj property. Pepco Energy Services will expand the current plant facilities at the Taj and provide operating services for all production equipment.
