Air Canada Selects Maintenix(R) for Fleet-Wide Implementation
Mxi Technologies announced today that Air Canada, Canada's largest airline, has selected the Maintenix(R) maintenance management software for fleet-wide implementation. The software will allow for the integrated automation of the airline's entire maintenance and engineering organization leading to further efficiency improvements within the organization.
The solution will provide additional functionalities to Air Canada's Engineering, Planning, Materials Management, Line Maintenance and Technical Records departments and is expected to be fully implemented at all Air Canada locations by 2010.Integrated automation of the airline's maintenance and engineering processes will improve efficiency, enhance the visibility of fleet-wide data and as a result, allow more timely decision making. The integration of several aircraft and airline corporate systems will support Air Canada's business model and increase operational efficiencies.
