Thousands of Employees at CEZ’s Subsidiary in Bulgaria Strike

CEZ (Prague, Czech Republic), power group, has to face a strike of employees at its distribution subsidiary CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria (Bulgaria). About 40% of total 3,050 employees of the firm participated in the strike on 10 Apr 2008. CEZ Razpredelnie Bulgaria supplies electric power to more than 2 mil costumers in western Bulgaria including nearly 1 mil inhabitants of the capital of Sofia.
