OpenSkies Selects Radixx Air for Reservation and Service Management

OpenSkies, a new airline from British Airways, has selected Radixx, a provider of airline distribution management solutions, to provide reservation and airline management systems.

OpenSkies will utilize the Radixx Air enterprise edition, which will give passengers the flexibility to book tickets online, by phone or through a travel agent – OpenSkies will be listed on the global distribution systems with a British Airways code.

Ron Peri, CEO of Radixx, said: “We’ve worked to develop a hybrid reservations system that allows OpenSkies to distribute directly via its website and call center with a ticket-less system, but also through travel agents via the British Airways codeshare and using traditional travel agency fulfillment processes. We’re thrilled to equip OpenSkies with this cutting-edge technology.”
