Posted on: Thursday, 17 April 2008, 09:00 CDT

Air Wisconsin Airlines has announced an expanded agreement with United Airlines, which adds ramp services to the overwing services Air Wisconsin currently performs at United's Washington Dulles hub, and also increases from 23 to 27 the number of cities throughout the US in which it provides complete ground handling services for United Express flights.

Air Wisconsin, in a continuation of its long-standing ground handling relationship with United Airlines, began providing baggage loading, aircraft servicing and aircraft de-icing in addition to its existing ticket counter, check-in, gate and station operations services for over 200 daily United Express flights at Dulles.

Air Wisconsin will also provide complete United Express ground handling services at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Birmingham, Alabama; Norfolk, Virginia; and Saginaw, Michigan.

James Rankin, president and CEO of Air Wisconsin, said: "We are very pleased to announce this agreement with United Airlines which retains our current business and secures substantial growth of our ground handling operations."
