Etihad Airways to Operate 728 Weekly Flights
Etihad Airways plans to operate 728 weekly summer special flights to various destinations worldwide, including the newly launched service to Beijing, the Middle East Aviation has reported.
The airline, which has operated 494 flights during the summer of 2007, will also increase the frequency of its services to the GCC, Middle East, Europe, Indian sub-continent, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. This will include 12 flights per week to Cairo.
The Middle East Aviation has quoted James Hogan, CEO of Etihad Airways, as saying: “Etihad will offer air travelers from around the world significantly improved connection opportunities through our Abu Dhabi home base as we continue to add breadth, depth and additional frequency to the airline’s expanding global route network.”
