Wells Fargo Honors Earth Day 2008, Launches Three Initiatives

SAN FRANCISCO, April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wells Fargo & Company is offering consumers a $250 incentive for the purchase of new residential photovoltaic solar energy systems, hosting a sweepstake to encourage customers to bank online, and expanding its Wells Fargo Rewards(R) program to include a line of eco-friendly options.

Incentive for solar energy
Consumers who purchase a new residential photovoltaic solar energy system using their Wells Fargo home equity loan or line of credit account can qualify for a $250 Wells Fargo(R) Visa(R) Gift Card. Wells Fargo Online(R) Statements Sweepstakes
Through June 10, 2008, when customers sign up for online-only statement delivery for their eligible personal and business accounts, they are automatically entered for a chance to win $1,000, $5,000 or even $25,000.* Likewise, customers who currently receive both online and paper statement delivery will receive automatic entry for opting out of paper statements. A total of $50,000 will be awarded to eighteen winners.
