Senomyx to Give Presentation on Innovation in Food Ingredients and Flavorings at the BIO 2008 World Congress

Senomyx, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNMX), a leading company focused on using proprietary taste receptor technologies to discover and develop novel flavor ingredients for the food, beverage, and ingredient supply industries, announced today that the Company’s President and CEO, Kent Snyder, will present an overview about Senomyx’s use of innovative technologies to create healthier consumer products on Tuesday, April 29, during the BIO 2008 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing in Chicago, Illinois. The presentation will be part of a featured plenary session on “A Taste of the Future: Innovation in Food Ingredients and Flavorings.”

Industrial biotechnology provides natural methods for producing food flavors and stabilizers that enhance the taste of foods, keep it fresher longer, and increase nutritional value for consumers. The World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing will feature executives from industrial biotech companies discussing the latest developments in use of biological production methods to replace chemicals in food ingredients and flavorings. The World Congress is the only global conference dedicated solely to the most recent advancements in industrial biotechnology. The event is being organized by BIO and co-organized by the American Chemical Society, the National Agricultural Biotechnology Council and the Department of Energy.
