The eaurganic line offers advanced moisturizers, cleansers, soaps, shower gels and body lotions that blend the most effective ingredients for the skin with enveloping aromatherapy for the soul. eaurganic products are tested by dermatologists and they do not contain any toxins, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, parabens, silicones, synthetic perfumes, colours or oils. Products are not tested on animals and all packaging is recyclable.
"In an environment where certification is voluntary and the words 'natural' and 'organic' can be uncertain, we wanted to go one step further in providing our customers with assurance of quality, origin and product integrity," says Shahin Kalantari, d'Avicenna founder and president. "When your products are certified, the claims you make are proven and supported by facts verified through a rigorous process. This certification offers our customers a strong guarantee they can trust."
eaurganic products use only the best certified organic and natural ingredients imported from producers around the world and certified under the world's strictest agricultural standards. From lavender essential oil to cocoa butter, from jojoba to bergamot extract, from coconut oil to shea butter all herbal ingredients have been cultivated and stored without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and other toxins.
The production process itself follows strict requirements from the handling of the ingredients to the training of the staff, right down to the cleaning agents used in our facilities and the recycling practices.
d'Avicenna is committed to developing products that are safe for consumers and for the environment. For this reason d'Avicenna has signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics - http://www.safecosmetics.org/ - and has submitted its products for analysis to the Environmental Working Group which compiles the Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database - http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/.
About Organic Regulations in Canada
Canada's new Organic Products Regulations are scheduled to be implemented on December 14, 2008. The regulations will make the Canadian organic standards mandatory for all organic food sold in Canada, and will be subject to enforcement by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Currently, there are no national regulations for non-food items. The non-food organic sector relies on voluntary third-party certification to ensure that consumers know they are buying a product that has been verified as organic or made with organic ingredients and materials.
