Crude Oil Prices Gain on Wednesday

Crude oil prices climbed Wednesday, but closed shy of the record of nearly $120 a barrel set Tuesday.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration said crude supplies rose 2.4 million barrels during the week ending April 18, easing pressure on crude prices slightly.
On the exchange, the price of crude oil reached $118.21 per barrel Wednesday, up 75 cents from the morning price of $117.46.
Heating oil prices rose 0.0005 cents in late trading to $3.3255 cents per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices fell 0.0042 cents to $3.0465 per gallon. Natural gas prices gained 0.044 cents $10.825 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was a record $3.533 per gallon Wednesday, up from $3.511 per gallon, AAA said.
