Nippon Oil Subsidiary Discovers Natural Gas in Gulf of Mexico

Nippon Oil Exploration USA, a subsidiary of Nippon Oil, has discovered natural gas in the West Cameron 552 Block of the Gulf of Mexico, reported Reuters.
No estimate regarding the amount of reserves in the block has been disclosed by the company.
According to Energycurrent.com, earlier in 2008, Pride jackup Pride Michigan drilled a well in the block for Nippon Oil, which operates the block.
