American Eagle to Launch Nonstop Flight Between New York and Iowa

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, has announced that it will add a daily nonstop flight between the New York LaGuardia Airport and the Eastern Iowa Regional Airport in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, beginning July 2, 2008.
The company said that it will operate the new service with 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 jets. American Eagle is also adding a new flight from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, beginning June 1, 2008.
Peter Bowler, president and CEO of American Eagle Airlines, said: "We are pleased to be adding service to Cedar Rapids. This new flight will allow our business customers direct access to New York City."
