China’s Pulp Imports in Spring 2008 Rise 53.3% Over Same Period Last Year, an Industrial Info News Alert

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) — China’s pulp imports have been increasing rapidly this spring, according to China Customs. The amount of imported pulp in January and February was 1.68 million tons, 33.8% higher compared with the same time last year. In terms of value, the products are worth $1.29 billion, 53.3% higher than spring 2007.
