BAA to Sell Airport Property
May 1, 2008
MORE property is to be sold off around Glasgow Airport by operator BAA Scotland.
Last month the firm, owned by Spanish utility firm Ferrovial, sold two sites near the airport and it was reported today that US firm Pologis is now keen on buying cargo warehouses.
Ferrovial’s interest payments on the GBP10billion it borrowed to buy BAA is thought to have doubled.
A BAA spokesman said: “We are careful not to say anything until we reach a deal.”
