United Airlines April Passenger Load Factor Down

United Airlines has reported that its passenger load factor in April 2008 was 80.5%, a decrease of 3.6 points, compared to 84.1% in April 2007.
For April 2008, the total scheduled revenue passenger miles decreased 6.3% to 9.27 billion from 9.89 billion in April 2007
. The capacity measured in scheduled available seat miles decreased 2.1% to 11.51 billion, compared to 11.77 billion in the same period of 2007. Revenue passengers boarded in schedule services decreased 8.3% to 5.42 million from 5.9 million in April 2007.Source: Datamonitor
