NEW YORK - On its second day of deliberations, a jury found a Maryland man guilty of stalking "Pulp Fiction" star Uma Thurman.

The panel of seven women and five men in state Supreme Court convicted Jack Jordan, 37, of stalking and aggravated harassment. He was acquitted of two other counts of aggravated harassment.

Jordan, who remained in custody for psychological observation, faces up to a year in prison.

He showed no sign of emotion when the verdict was announced.

On Monday, Jordan's defense attorney said in his summation to the jury that while his client has been fixated on and obsessed with Thurman since high school, none of the things he did amounted to stalking or aggravated harassment, the charges in the indictment.

"He was just trying to show Uma Thurman his love," George Vomvolakis said.

But Assistant District Attorney Jessica Taub said that Jordan wanted the Oscar-nominated actress to be the center of his life and would do whatever it took to fulfill that desire.

Thurman, 38, testified last week. While she said she never met Jordan, Thurman recounted how he tried to get into her trailer while she was filming "My Super-Ex Girlfriend" in November 2005.
