Posted on: Friday, 9 May 2008, 09:00 CDT
Lukoil and Olerex have purchased one service station each from fuel importer and retailer GT Oil Estonia, reported PetroPlaza. Lukoil bought a service station in Tallinn and Olerex has purchased a service station in Kivioli.
Antti Moppel, marketing director of Olerex, said: "This was the only retail asset of GT Oil we were really interested about. The acquisition, together with one more station, scheduled to be built later in 2008, gives Olerex complete coverage of the region."
Recently, GT Oil Estonia filed for bankruptcy protection. As a result, more auctions are to take place in order to sell off other assets of the company.
