Energy Transfer Partners Q1 Net Income Up

Energy Transfer Partners, a midstream energy company, has reported net income of $328.3 million for the three months ended March 31, 2008 compared to net income of $311.1 million for the three months ended February 28, 2007.

For the three months ended March 31, 2008 EBITDA totaled $440.5 million, compared to $405.2 million for the three months ended February 28, 2007.

The company reported total revenues of $2.64 billion for the three months ended March 31, 2008, compared to $2.06 billion for the three months ended February 28, 2007.

Brian Jennings, CFO of Energy Transfer Partners, said: "The results speak for themselves, we reported record earnings and cash flow and we exceeded guidance. In addition, we achieved in the quarter a number of key operating milestones including bringing our Southeast Bossier Pipeline into service, and announcing the Texas Independence Pipeline project, a major intrastate pipeline."
