Wal-Mart De Mexico April Sales Up

Wal-Mart de Mexico has reported sales of MXN18.05 billion for April 2008, a 6.7% increase over sales reported for April 2007.
The company reported that comparable store sales increased 1.3% for April 2008, compared with a 4.5% increase for April 2007.
Costumer count in comparable stores registered a 2% increase during the month of April, while average ticket decreased 0.7% compared to the same month of 2007.
