Sixth Annual Louisiana Energy Conference to Highlight 16 Energy Producers and Oil Field Service Companies

The Sixth Annual Louisiana Energy Conference will be held in New Orleans at the Windsor Court Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, May 21st and 22nd, 2008. This energy investment conference will highlight ten exploration and production companies: Callon Petroleum Co. (NYSE:CPE); Energy Partners, Ltd. (NYSE:EPL); Energy XXI, Ltd. (NasdaqCM:EXXI); Mariner Energy, Inc. (NYSE:ME); The Meridian Resource Corporation (NYSE:TMR); PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (NYSE:PQ); Stone Energy Corporation (NYSE:SGY); Swift Energy Company (NYSE:SFY); Triangle Petroleum Corporation (OTCBB:TPLM); and W&T Offshore, Inc. (NYSE:WTI) as well as six oil field service companies: Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. (Nasdaq:GIFI); Key Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:KEG), Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. (NYSE:HOS); RPC, Inc. (NYSE:RES); Superior Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:SPN); and Trico Marine Services, Inc. (NasdaqGM:TRMA). The Conference is being independently sponsored by the participating companies and will include detailed investor-oriented presentations by senior management of each company over the two-day period.

While attendance at the conference is directed to buyside portfolio managers along with buyside and sellside energy analysts, all company presentations during the Conference will be available online both live and in an archived version at the Conference's web site, www.LouisianaEnergyConference.com under "Webcast."
