Russia to Launch Three Military Satellites – Commander

Moscow, 19 May: the Russian Space Troops plan to launch three military satellites in the next few months, Space Troops Commander Col-Gen Vladimir Popovkin has told journalists today.

“The launches have been scheduled for this month, June and July. Military satellites will be put in orbit”, Popovkin said.

He noted that for the last six months the Space Troops had not launched a satellite. [Passage omitted]
