High-Rise Catches Fire in Sao Paulo

A high-rise building near an airport in Brazil's largest city caught fire Tuesday filling the sky over Sao Paulo with smoke.
Investigators later said that a leaky gas line was to blame for the building blaze in Sao Paulo's Moema neighborhood near Congonhas Airport, O Globo reported. No one was injured, police said.
Congonhas Airport was the site of a 2007 crash of a TAM Airlines plane that killed 154 people and has been closely scrutinized since as its landing strip is surrounded by urban sprawl and is considered unsafe by some.
