Historical Geology Report on Silver Falcon Mining’s (SFMI) War Eagle Mountain Claims; Road Use Permits Granted
Silver Falcon Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SFMI) today released details of a report from the Idaho Historical Society, written in 1992 by Mr. Robert L. Romig and based on the Mr. Waldemar Lindgren’s report, on War Eagle Mountain.
Mr. Romig wrote: “The country rock on War Eagle Mountain is granite. Instead of the usual conversion to sericite and carbonates, we find a nearly total absence of carbonates and scarcity of sericite. The veins on War Eagle Mountain are not pseudomorphic. The ores differ on De Lamar, War Eagle, and Florida Mountain and yet show close relationship. GOLD PREVAILS BY VALUE at War Eagle, yet in all veins the silver decidedly exceeds the gold by weight. All of the ore produced to date on War Eagle Mountain has averaged 2.52 oz gold equivalent per ton. The richest ore shoots of the War Eagle Mountain have been found chiefly near the surface.”
War Eagle Mountain is the eastern-most Gold Dome of the “Owyhee Gold Trend,” a 5-mile, E-W trending mining area, south of Boise, Idaho, in the Silver City Mining District.
On another subject, Deep Rock, Inc., (Melba, Idaho), announced today that, after two public hearings on the matter, it has received approvals from the Owyhee County (Idaho) Commissioners and the Owyhee County Road Department granting access and use by heavy trucks of the main county road to War Eagle Mountain, and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has granted it a clean bill of health concerning air and water quality issues for the mill operation in Melba, Idaho.
Mr. Pierre Quilliam, President of Silver Falcon Mining, Inc., said, “We continue to meet our timelines for the beginning of mining and milling operations on War Eagle Mountain.”
