Menzies Aviation Secures Cargo Handling Contract From Great Wall Airlines

Menzies Aviation, a provider of ground handling services for freight forwarders and airlines, has been awarded a contract by Great Wall Airlines for full cargo handling at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport, in the US.

Great Wall Airlines operates from its hub at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport, offering dedicated freighter services, connecting China to the cargo markets of the world.

The flights into Seattle will commence on June 1, 2008, and will operate three times a week using B747-400 freighters with the ShanghaiSeoulSeattleChicago routing and vice versa.

John Redmond, senior vice president of Americas at Menzies Aviation, said: "I am delighted to have been chosen by Great Wall Airlines to handle their service at Seattle Tacoma International. We look forward to working closely with Great Wall Airlines to ensure this new operation is a great success for all concerned and building on our existing relationship with the airline."
