China Southern Airlines has moved its operations to Terminal-2 at the Beijing Capital Airport.
The company noted that it has been almost four years since it began using Terminal-1 at the Beijing Capital Airport. Terminal-1 has reportedly not been able to meet the carrier's steadily increasing passenger numbers.
In 2009, China Southern Airlines will receive five Airbus A380s and base all of them in Beijing, to service outbound international flights from the Chinese capital.
China Southern's move to Terminal-2 is expected to offer passengers an optimized departure and arrival process, offering them seamless services and numerous customized ground services.
The ground handling services at the new Terminal-2 will be divided into check-in, boarding, high-yield passenger service, international and outfield areas.
