The First Hyundai Cars Will Be Launched in Three Months

Hyundai Motor Company (South Korea), automotive company, has invested EUR 485 mil, about CEK 12.16 bil, in the construction of its plant in Nosovice, the Czech Republic. About of CEK 5.9 bil of the sum was paid for the construction part. The firm should invest a total of EUR 1.1 bil in Nosovice. The construction was started in Apr 2007. In Aug 2008 Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) (Nosovice, Czech Republic) should start pilot operation. The automotive firm will have 1,945 employees at the end of 2008 and 3,435 employees in 2010. The plant in Nosovice will start its serial production during 1Q 2009. HMMC will co-operate with 50 suppliers.
