Sanaa, 26 May: An official source at the Public Electricity Corporation [said] that the causes of frequent power outages in some provinces of the country were due to the lack of diesel fuel supplied to the power stations.

The source was quoted by the Saba-run Al-Siyasiah daily that the lack of diesel fuel has led to the suspension of some power stations in Sanaa and Aden for a work.

The source expected the continuance of power outages in the coming days due to the absence of the necessary quantities of diesel fuel for operating many power stations.
