Labour Court to Hold Hearing into RTE Pensions Row

RTE staff are threatening strike action over what they say is an inferior pension offered to workers who joined after 1990.They are part of a defined contribution scheme, while longer-serving workers have a defined benefit scheme, which guarantees them a certain pay- out on retirement.
