Borrego Solar Systems, Inc., a leading designer and installer of grid-connected solar electric power systems, today announced that Vice President of Business Development Brenden Neagle will lead a discussion entitled "The Influence of Rebates and Incentives on the Solar Industry; What Obstacles Remain for U.S. National Adoption of Solar PV?" during Clean Technology 2008, June 1-5 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. The presentation, which is part of "Photovoltaics: Technology & Applications" session, will examine how the U.S. can emerge as a leading global adopter of solar energy through federal, state and local government incentive programs.
"Clean technology has migrated from the peripheral of the social conscious to the forefront of hope for global sustainability," said Neagle. "While solar energy is one of many topics that will be discussed during the conference, it is a solution that is viable and available right now for industrial, business and consumer adoption. This session will be an important tool to help educate attendees about advancements in the industry, and emphasize the importance of rebates and incentives to foster solar growth and innovation."
