Comtech Telecommunications subsidiary Comtech PST has received orders worth $2 million from a domestic prime contractor to continue production of broadband, solid state, high power radio signal jamming amplifiers.
According to the company, these power amplifiers, which employ Gallium Nitrate transistor technology, offer improved efficiencies over wider bandwidths, mandated by present jamming systems.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "We remain committed to supporting this important program by investing in advanced technology solutions that enhance the performance of our amplifiers."
