Comtech Mobile Wins $1.3 Million US Army Contract

Comtech Telecommunications has announced that its subsidiary Comtech Mobile Datacom, has received orders totaling $1.3 million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the US Army.
According to the company, total orders received to date against the $605.1 million MTS contract increased to $86.2 million.
The orders are for the supply of MTS systems which feature Comtech's Model MT-2012 mobile satellite transceivers integrated with both ruggedized and control station computers, upgrades and enhancements to the MTS network, installation kits, program management, and technical support services.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "We are pleased to have received these new orders for the continued deployment of our mobile transceiver technology. We look forward to our continuing participation in the MTS Program and to supporting the future communication requirements of not only the MTS program, but other critical programs for the Department of Defense as well."
