Comtech Mobile Datacom Wins $2 Million US Army Contract

Comtech Telecommunications has announced that its subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom, has received orders totaling $2 million under its indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the US Army Communications Electronics Command.
The orders are for the support of the Force XXI battle command brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT) program, a battle command real-time situational awareness and control system.
Comtech received orders to provide its Model MT-2011 mobile satellite ground and aviation data transceivers to support ongoing FBCB2 operations, as well as to provide additional satellite network bandwidth, and technical support and testing of its next-generation satellite aviation transceiver.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "We are extremely pleased to receive these new orders from our Blue Force Tracking customer. This continued support highlights the critical role our current and next-generation satellite transceiver products play in this important program."
