Nude Photo Distribution Investigated

Distribution of nude photos via cell phone among high school students has sparked an investigation by officials in an Ohio community.

Knox County authorities have been called in after students were allegedly sending nude pictures of each other possibly inside and outside the school. It was initially investigated as a bullying complaint but grew in seriousness, reported the Columbus Dispatch Tuesday.

This is a developing area, obviously, because of technology, and we’ve seen lots of reports of this sort of thing all around central Ohio, said Assistant Prosecutor Chip McConville. So how the law deals with it is still an evolving thing. . . The bottom line is, this sort of activity involving juveniles has the potential to bring charges in court.
