Qatar Airways to Launch Daily Non-Stop Flights to Kozhikode

Qatar Airways has announced that it will launch daily non-stop flights from Doha, Qatar, to Kozhikode in the Indian state of Kerala, beginning on June 15, 2008.
The southern coastal city of Kozhikode will be the airline's 83rd route with daily non-stop scheduled flights from Doha. It also heralds further expansion into Kerala for Qatar Airways, which already operates to Cochin and Trivandrum.
Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways, said: "Our new route to Kozhikode further demonstrates our commitment to this vibrant country and we are extremely pleased to see the route selling well with just a week to go before the launch."
