Enviro Voraxial Technology has entered into a representative agreement with CCS Midstream Services, an integrated energy and environmental services company, under which CCS Midstream Services will market, sell and utilize the Voraxial separator for the offshore exploration and production market in the Gulf of Mexico.

With over 3,500 platforms and approximately one billion barrels of produced water generated each year, the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) offshore exploration and production market represents one of the largest offshore markets in the world.

The agreement provides Enviro Voraxial Technology (EVTN) access to this market and the field support of a well-known company.

EVTN has said that, with oil prices reaching record levels and environmental regulations becoming more stringent, the need for effective separation continues to be an important issue for the oil industry.

Mark Arceneaux, general manager of CCS, said: “The Voraxial separator provides the industry a more efficient and cost-effective way to handle and separate their wastewater streams. The characteristics of the Voraxial allow it to be used in multiple applications, which will make it a major component of our treatment process.”
