AirTran Launches Non-Stop Flights Between San Antonio and Atlanta

AirTran Airways has launched non-stop flights between San Antonio International Airport, Texas, and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Georgia.
The airline said that the new route is served by Boeing 717 aircraft. In addition to the non-stop flights, AirTran connects to 46 destinations through Atlanta, including flights to New York, Washington DC and Boston, Massachusetts.
Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways, said: "With our first flight into San Antonio International Airport, we are bringing San Antonio travelers easy access to major east coast business and leisure destinations such as Atlanta, Boston, New York and Washington DC."
