Air Berlin Appoints New General Manager in Thailand

Air Berlin Group has appointed Stefan Magiera as its new Bangkok-based general manager running the activities in Thailand.
In this newly created post, Mr Magiera will report directly to Thorsten Scherzer, divisional director for sales management at Air Berlin.
The companies for which Mr Magiera has worked in the past include Hapag-Lloyd Business Travel and Dusseldorf Airport, as well as the airlines Lufthansa and Lufthansa CityLine.
Mr Magiera was head of corporate sales at Air Berlin from 2004 to 2006 and responsible for the corporate accounts sector. His most recent job was as head of the sales team at Germanwings.
