Turkish Airlines to conduct joint flights with Air Malta

ANKARA, June 14 (Xinhua) — Turkish Airlines (THY) will conduct joint flights with Air Malta, THY said in a statement on Saturday.

High-level officials from the two companies signed a cooperation agreement in Malta, under which THY will be able to sell tickets using its own flight number for the Istanbul-Malta flights run by Air Malta twice a week, the statement said.

The new flights will be conducted on Mondays and Thursdays, it said.

THY is the national airline of Turkey, based in Istanbul, the largest city of Turkey. It operates a network of scheduled services to 123 international and 32 domestic cities, serving a total of 155 airports in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States.

Air Malta, the national airline of Malta, operates services to 36 destinations in Europe and North Africa.
