Emirates Selects Sabre SlotManager to Manage Airport Slot Portfolio

Sabre Airline Solutions, a provider of technology solutions for the airline industry has expanded relationship with Dubai-based airline Emirates through which the airline will enhance its flight scheduling activity by implementing the Sabre SlotManager solution, enabling it to more efficiently manage and track its slot rights at airports.
Emirates said that it already use Sabre technology to optimize its operations, and it has selected the SlotManager because of its extensive experience and proven ability to deliver visible efficiencies that result in significant cost savings across an airline's operations.
Part of the Sabre AirFlite suite which provides scheduling and planning solutions, the SlotManager solution enables airlines to manage and track its slot rights at IATA slot-coordinated airports.
Azhar Kapadwanjwala, vice president of schedule planning and network optimization at Emirates, said: "As a growing network, slots are a very valuable asset and its important we use them efficiently. Thanks to Sabre SlotManager we now have a centralized database for managing and growing our slots portfolio."
